Destinus acquires Perciv AI, bringing radar perception in-house

Delft-based team adds AI-based radar detection and tracking to Destinus’ sensing capabilities.
Valkenburg, the Netherlands. Destinus Group B.V. (“Destinus”) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Perciv B.V. (“Perciv AI”), a Delft-based developer of AI-based radar perception software. Perciv AI will become Destinus’ centre for radar perception, with its founding team continuing to lead the business. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Perciv AI develops neural-network models that process radar data for object detection and tracking, including targets with a low radar cross section. Its software also supports radar-based navigation when GNSS is unavailable or degraded.
Daedalean, another Destinus company, already provides optical perception and GNSS-denied navigation. In addition, Destinus and TNO are jointly developing advanced radar seeker technologies through a dedicated joint venture. Perciv AI adds radar perception and detection capabilities, enabling closer integration of optical and radar sensing across Destinus systems.
“Radar perception needs to be developed as part of the complete system,” said Mikhail Kokorich, Founder and CEO of Destinus. “Bringing Perciv AI into Destinus gives us control over a critical technology and brings its engineers directly into the development of our products.”
Perciv AI was founded by Andras Palffy, Balazs Szekeres and Srimannarayana Baratam, all alumni of TU Delft.
The transaction marks Destinus’ third acquisition in the Netherlands, following the acquisition of assets from OPRA in 2023 and Aerialtronics in 2025. It continues Destinus’ investment in Dutch engineering and industrial capabilities, adding a specialist radar-perception team in Delft.
“Perciv AI was built to turn advanced radar research into software that works in real systems,” said Andras Palffy, Co-Founder and Director of Technology at Perciv AI. “Our work with Destinus over the past year showed the value of connecting perception research directly to system development. Joining Destinus gives us the scale to develop the technology further and grow the team in Delft."
